Health and Fitness Data

GymDoe stores workout and fitness-related information so you can track training and progress. GymDoe is not a medical provider, and the app is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. You should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any exercise program.

AI-Assisted Features

GymDoe may use artificial intelligence services to generate or adapt workout plans. To provide these features, we may send relevant fitness profile information, workout history, goals, available equipment, selected exercises, and related prompts to AI service providers. AI outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate for your circumstances. Review all generated content before relying on it.

Public Content and Social Features

If you make your profile, workouts, photos, posts, comments, or other content public, other users may view, interact with, save, share, report, or import parts of that content depending on the feature. You can use privacy settings where available, but content that has already been viewed, copied, shared, cached, or indexed by others may remain outside GymDoe's control.

Purchases and Creator Payouts

GymDoe uses Apple in-app purchase systems for digital purchases and subscriptions in the iOS app. Apple may process payment details, refunds, subscriptions, purchase history, and related billing information under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. GymDoe receives limited purchase information, such as transaction identifiers, product identifiers, purchase status, and amounts.

GymDoe uses Stripe Connect for creator payout setup and payout account management. Stripe may collect identity, tax, bank account, business, fraud-prevention, and compliance information directly from creators. GymDoe stores limited Stripe status information needed to determine whether a creator payout account is connected and eligible to receive payouts.

How We Share Information

We may share information in the following ways:

  • With other users: public profiles, posts, photos, comments, likes, follows, workout imports, badges, creator status, and other social activity may be visible to others.
  • With service providers: vendors that provide authentication, hosting, storage, databases, AI processing, payment processing, creator payouts, email, support, security, analytics, or app operations.
  • With payment platforms: Apple for in-app purchases and Stripe for creator payout onboarding, compliance, and account management.
  • For safety and moderation: information may be used or shared to investigate abuse, enforce rules, protect users, or respond to reports.
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, tax or accounting obligations, or to protect rights, safety, property, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.

GymDoe may use third-party services such as Clerk for authentication, Apple for in-app purchases, Stripe for creator payouts, cloud hosting and database providers, Amazon S3 or similar storage providers for media, AI providers for workout generation and adaptation, and infrastructure, monitoring, security, analytics, or support providers. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies where applicable.
